Site Manager
Full-Time Competitive Salary UK-Wide Travel Required

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced and confident Site Manager to lead the day-to-day delivery of EV charging infrastructure projects across various locations throughout the UK.

This is a hands-on role involving regular travel. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all on-site activities to ensure project milestones and quality standards are consistently met

  • Coordinate effectively with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers

  • Manage daily site operations with a focus on safety, efficiency, and compliance

  • Maintain detailed site records and provide regular progress updates

  • Lead site meetings and ensure open, effective communication among stakeholders

  • Implement and uphold all health & safety procedures, including inductions and training

  • Conduct regular inspections and address issues or defects promptly

  • Manage site budgets and approve relevant expenditures

  • Act as the primary client liaison, providing clear and professional updates

Candidate Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Site Manager within the civil engineering or infrastructure sector

  • Comprehensive knowledge of construction methods, health & safety standards, and site logistics

  • Excellent communication and team leadership skills

  • Strong organisational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities

  • Competent in Microsoft Office and project management tools

  • SMSTS qualification is essential

  • EUSR SHEA Power or valid CSCS card required
