Job summary

Connolly Ltd is seeking a Site Manager with a strong Social Housing background to lead external refurbishment works across our North Wales projects. You will manage site operations, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery, coordinating with teams and subcontractors.

The role requires an established track record in social housing schemes, SMSTS, and First Aid at Work, with a focus on achieving profitability and compliance throughout the build lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of site management requirements.
• Experience running social housing projects from start to finish.
• In date SMSTS qualification.
• First Aid at work.
• Asbestos awareness is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to the plan, specification and programme of works.
• Prepare progress reports, monitor programmes and sign off quality control documents.
• Manage budgets with QS to optimise profitability of projects.
• Coordinate teams and set/update work objectives for teams and individuals.
• Allocate work and evaluate performance against objectives.
• Ensure induction is carried out and records completed.
• Ensure trades have materials and equipment to complete tasks.
• Maintain a satisfactory site environment.
• Ensure quality of all site work.

A bit about the role …

We are currently looking for dynamic Site Managers with a Social Housing background to join our ever-growing team here at Connollys!

We have several exciting opportunities to join our team. The scope of works we are currently undertaking are Window and Door replacements, EWI works, external works, social housing decarbonisation schemes (all external works) Previous experience in this type of work is desirable.

What you will be responsible for…

• Responsible for the adherence to the plan, specification and programme of works
• Required to prepare progress reports, monitor programmes and sign off quality control documents
• Aware of cost and managing delegated budgets, working closely with QS to optimise the profitability of projects
• Co-ordinate all Team Members set and update work objectives for teams and individuals. Plan activities and agree work methods to achieve objectives
• Allocate work and evaluate teams, individuals and self against objectives, ensuring that no task is beyond the team member's capabilities
• Ensure that induction is rigorously carried out and records completed
• Ensuring that all tradesmen have the appropriate material and equipment in order to be able to achieve their designated tasks
• Ensuring that the site environment is satisfactory
• Responsible for the quality of all work carried out on the site whether undertaken by staff or contractors

What we’d like from you…

• In date SMSTS qualification
