Overview
LMO Construction is seeking an experienced Site Manager to take over responsibility for the delivery of a 6-house residential development. This role involves replacing the current manager on site, so professionalism, diplomacy, and the ability to transition smoothly into an ongoing project are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day site management and ensure smooth project continuation.
- Oversee all trades and subcontractors to maintain progress and quality standards.
- Ensure all site paperwork, records, and compliance documents are accurately completed and maintained.
- Manage health & safety on site in line with company policy and legal requirements.
- Coordinate material deliveries and site logistics.
- Work closely with the client, senior management, and design team to resolve issues promptly.
- Monitor construction progress to ensure deadlines are achieved.
- Carry out regular site inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
- Produce and update site reports as required.
Requirements
- SMSTS certification (essential).
- Strong knowledge of residential construction projects.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational and paperwork skills.
- Proven ability to step into an ongoing project and manage stakeholders effectively.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
