Location: Kwinana, South of Fremantle, WA
Salary: $130k - $150k + Super + Bonus
Role Highlights: This isn't a "business as usual" role. It's a rebuild. The right person will lead a team through real cultural change, operational upgrades, and future-focused investment. It's an opportunity for someone ready to roll up their sleeves and lead a site into the future.

Role Overview

This WA manufacturing site has a proud local legacy. Known for producing premium agricultural and garden care products, it's been part of the community for decades.
In recent years, it's undergone a significant transition, shifting from a privately run operation to being part of a national network with strong investment and clear long-term vision.

Now, it needs a leader to drive the next phase.

You'll report to the National Operations Director and oversee a team of around 25, including 3 direct reports across production, dispatch, and maintenance.
Your role? Bring clarity, consistency, and care to a team that's ready for direction. Lift standards, build trust, and make this site a workplace people are proud to be part of.

Responsibilities:

  • Full site responsibility including; safety, production, maintenance, and despatch
  • Build culture and capability within a team that needs strong leadership
  • Drive continuous improvement across operations and plant efficiency
  • Manage operational KPIs and lead site planning and reporting
  • Oversee safety systems, hazard identification, audits and action plans
  • Coach and support your direct reports to embed accountability and engagement
  • Collaborate with national leadership and contribute to local and global initiatives
Candidate Profile

You might be a Production Manager or Operations Manager who's had some exposure to site management and is ready to take the next step. You've led teams, driven improvement, and now you're looking for a site to truly make your own with support from senior leaders to grow into full P&L responsibility.

Or, you might already be a Site Manager, Plant Manager, or Factory Manager looking for a new challenge - somewhere you can have real ownership, drive long-term change, and build a legacy as part of a wider, national manufacturing network.

Either way, you're a people-first leader who thrives in complex environments.
You're not just present on the floor - you're engaged.
You know transformation takes time, energy, and consistency.
You can prioritise, take action, and lead teams through ambiguity to a better way of working.

We're Looking For:
  • Proven people leadership experience in manufacturing
  • Strong understanding of safety, plant operations, and production performance
  • Hands-on leadership style - engaged, present, and accountable
  • Systems awareness (SAP preferred), with a structured approach to reporting and planning
  • A change mindset - someone who thrives on the opportunity to build, improve, and lift standards
Culture & Benefits

Join a respected, values-led manufacturing business with an outstanding reputation in the industry. Producing a range of well-known & loved agricultural products.

You'll be joining a national business in growth mode, backed by private equity and serious about investing in people and operations. This site is key to the company's future - and you'll have real autonomy to shape what that looks like.
  • Full-time permanent leadership role
  • Well recognised and respected heritage brand
  • 5 x days on-site, Monday to Friday. No weekends or nights
  • Ongoing opportunity for growth and development
  • Leadership pathways, including visiting all other sites in AUS/NZ, liaise with other Site Managers, leaders and the wider business
