Job description

An award-winning Kent main contractor is looking to develop its team by recruiting a Site Manager who is eager to develop their career.

Key responsibilities for our Site Manager include:

  • Health & Safety: Ensuring everyone goes home safe
  • Quality: Delivering snag-free projects
  • Commercial awareness: Working with the QS to ensure profitability
  • Staff management: Monitoring the construction programme and ensuring on-site staff know their responsibilities and deadlines
  • Process management: Maintaining accurate records

The IDEAL, but not essential, experience we are looking for in our new Site Manager includes:

  • Experience with a main contractor on projects between GBP5M and GBP20M
  • Experience in both new build and refurbishment projects
  • Experience across various project types, e.g., schools, commercial, leisure, luxury housing
  • At least 3 years of experience
  • A passion for construction
  • Willingness to learn and improve
