Job description

Fixed Term Contract - Full Time (40 hours)

We are seeking a Site Manager to join us at Osprey House Hub in St Albans.

About the Role

Leading the daily operations of the project, in line with our best practices and governance standards, you will ensure all business objectives are achieved within time, cost, and budget constraints, while supporting bid and business development activities.

You will have a detailed understanding of operational, commercial, and contractual KPIs, managing and maximizing service delivery and productivity. This includes developing service delivery programs from inception to completion, with a focus on quality assurance, service accessibility, responsiveness, and client engagement and feedback.

About You

Candidates should possess significant technical expertise in planned works and maintenance within the social housing sector, particularly internal and external projects, with proven experience and knowledge of NHF Schedule of Rates.

Requirements include a Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) certification, NVQ Level 6, and strong knowledge of construction methods, technology, and materials. You should have excellent time management, IT skills, and be proactive, flexible, with strong influencing skills. Experience in delivering extensive external and internal schemes ranging from £250K to £1m, including fire safety works, doors, shaft walling, compartmentalization, stopping, cladding, windows, doors, roofing, and regeneration projects, is essential.

A valid full UK driving license held for at least 12 months is required.
