Job summary

ReGen Solutions seeks a Site Manager for temporary externals works across Walton-upon-Thames sites, including Dorking and Bromley. You will lead on-site operations, manage operatives and sub-contractors, and ensure safety, quality and programme adherence.

Requires 5+ years in planned maintenance/refurbishment, CSCS and SMSTS, a full UK driving licence, and First Aid certification. RICS/MCIOB is advantageous.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in internal/external planned works.
• Planned maintenance and refurbishment experience required.
• In-date First Aid certificate.
• Gold CSCS Card and SMSTS certificate.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Membership of or working towards RICS/MCIOB advantageous.

Responsibilities

Site Manager Temp

Dorking/Bromley Maintenance Contractor - externals

Company:

A well-established, Tier 1, fast paced and ambitious construction, and maintenance contractor with a great reputation for providing excellent services to clients.

Role:

The role is on a brand-new contract which involves a working on a planned externals project also covering some small internal communal projects. As Site Manager, you will manage and control on site activities the course of this project, which is internal and planned work. The work will be on sites across different areas in Walton-upon-Thames. The project is externals including roofing and window replacements.

This will involve:

• Accountability for all daily operational activity and the management of operatives and sub-contractors
• Identifying, reviewing and implementing the client's critical success factors for the project
• Ensuring that the quality and programme standards are delivered, avoiding any post-completion defects.
• Ensuring high standards of safety and quality are always maintained.
• Ensuring project delivery plan is followed to cost and time frame expectations.

Site Managers play a vital role in the successful delivery of these refurbishment works.

Key Experience needed:

• Previous experience with Internal/External planned works. Minimum 5 years’ experience is also desirable.
• Planned Maintenance and refurbishment experience required.
• In date First Aid certificate is needed.
• Construction-related NVQ / HNC Level 4 and above. Gold CSCS Card required.
• Relevant CSCS card and SMSTS certificate
• Sound knowledge and compliance with health and safety requirements
• Full UK driving license
• Membership of or working towards RICS/MCIOB would be advantageous.
