Job summary

Ivy Resource Group is recruiting an experienced Site Manager for a permanent role based in Derby to oversee a portfolio of commercial projects, including schools, hospitals and leisure centres. You will manage site operations, coordinate subcontractors and materials, and ensure delivery on time and on budget.

The ideal candidate will have proven Site Manager experience on commercial schemes, plus strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on commercial projects.
• Strong track record in commercial schemes.
• Experience in Tier 1 contracting environments is desirable.
• Excellent leadership, organisation and communication skills.
• Stable career history demonstrating long-term commitment.

Ivy Resource Group are working with a well-established main contractor to recruit an experienced Site Manager for a permanent role based in Derby. You will be managing a range of commercial projects including schools, hospitals, colleges, universities and leisure centres.

The Role:

• Managing day-to-day site operations across multiple commercial projects
• Coordinating subcontractors, labour, and materials to ensure smooth delivery
• Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, and to budget
• Maintaining strong communication with the wider project team
• Upholding health & safety and site compliance standards

The Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on commercial projects or an Assistant Site Manager looking to progress
• Strong track record in commercial schemes
• Experience in Tier 1 contracting environments is desirable
• Excellent leadership, organisation, and communication skills
• Stable career history demonstrating long-term commitment

Salary & Package:

• £57,000 - £60,000 per annum
• £5,500 car allowance
