Job summary

PCR are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee an office fit out in Deepcut, Surrey. The role focuses on day-to-day site management, coordinating subcontractors and trades while delivering the project on time and to quality standards.

You will manage the programme, coordinate M&E installations, and drive health & safety, RAMS and toolbox talks on site. Experience in commercial fit-out is essential.

Qualifications

• SMSTS certification required.
• CSCS Black Card or equivalent Manager CSCS.
• First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site management and coordinate subcontractors and trades.
• Ensure project is delivered safely, on programme and to required quality standards.
• Manage programme, oversee internal fit-out works and coordinate M&E installations.
• Collaborate with Project Manager, Contracts Manager, client and subcontractors for smooth delivery.
• Supervise partitions, ceilings, flooring, decorating, joinery, finishing trades and M&E services.
• Maintain health and safety standards, RAMS, inductions, toolbox talks, quality control, snagging and site logistics.

Site Manager - Office Fit Out

Location: Deepcut, Surrey

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum equivalent, depending on experience

Job Type: Temp to Perm

Start Date: ASAP

PCR are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to oversee an office fit out project in Deepcut, Surrey.

The role will initially be offered on a temporary basis, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate. The temporary rate will be based on the equivalent permanent salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the site, coordinating subcontractors and trades and ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standard.

You will be responsible for managing the programme, coordinating subcontractors, overseeing internal fit out works and coordinating M&E installations.

The role will involve working closely with the Project Manager, Contracts Manager, client and subcontractors to ensure the smooth delivery of the project.

Typical works will include partitions, ceilings, flooring, decorating, joinery, finishing trades and M&E services.

You will also be responsible for site health and safety, RAMS, inductions, toolbox talks, quality control, snagging, deliveries and general site logistics.

The ideal candidate will have previous Site Management experience within commercial fit out, office fit out, refurbishment or a similar construction environment. Experience managing multiple subcontractors and coordinating M&E alongside internal fit out works is important.

Candidates from commercial refurbishment, CAT A/CAT B fit out, retail, high-end will also be considered where they have strong transferable Site Management experience.

Applicants should hold SMSTS, CSCS Black Card or relevant Manager-level CSCS and First Aid.
