Job summary

The Clancy Group is seeking a Site Manager in Dartford to lead vital gas project teams. You will oversee safety, efficiency and cost control while delivering high-quality results on time. This role rewards strong leadership and a proactive approach to site management.

Qualifications

• What you’ll need: proven site management experience in gas, utilities or infrastructure and a track record of leading teams.
• Qualified with NRSWA Supervisor and SSSTS/SMSTS; civil engineering and first aid certifications are a plus.
• Full, valid driver’s licence and strong knowledge of gas industry standards and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team on gas network projects and ensure safety, efficiency and cost control.
• Keep the project on track by spotting issues early and elevating them promptly.
• Mentor and develop the team with quality training and coaching.
• Encourage continuous improvement and manage schedules to avoid disruptions.

We're looking for a Site Manager to lead a team on vital gas network projects. You'll manage fast-paced work, maximise efficiency, control costs, and champion safety every day.

What will I be doing? In this role you'll:

• Keep the team focused on safety and environmental standards, making sure all work meets H&S rules and NRSWA specs
• Spot any issues early and elevate them promptly to keep everything on track
• Lead and inspire your team with quality training and mentoring, helping them grow and succeed
• Encourage fresh ideas and continuous improvement to keep us moving forward
• Stay ahead of schedules to reduce disruptions and avoid mistakes before they happen

What do I need to succeed?

• You've got solid experience managing sites in gas, utilities, construction, or infrastructure, with a strong track record of leading teams and understanding commercial priorities
• You hold essential qualifications like NRSWA Supervisor and SSSTS/SMSTS, with civil engineering and first aid certifications being a big plus
• A full, valid driver's licence is a must, along with deep knowledge of gas industry standards and health & safety best practices
