Job description

We are working with a specialist construction, refurbishment, and fit-out contractor, who is looking for a Site Manager for projects in the East of Scotland Region. This role will begin in January, with recruitment currently underway.

As Site Manager, you will oversee projects valued up to £2 million, ensuring quality and safety on construction sites. Your responsibilities include:

  1. Managing subcontractors and in-house trades
  2. Overseeing RAMS and conducting health & safety audits
  3. Ensuring timely, budget-conscious project completion
  4. Conducting site inductions, tool box talks, and safety reviews
  5. Preparing weekly progress reports for stakeholders
  6. Leading weekly subcontractor meetings to address project progress and mitigate delays

Requirements

  1. Proven experience within a similar role
  2. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  3. Full UK driver’s license
  4. Valid SMSTS, Black CSCS card, and First Aid certificate
