Job summary

Sphere Solutions is seeking an experienced Site Manager for a prestigious £10m new-build school project near Chippenham. You will lead day-to-day site operations, coordinate subcontractors, and maintain safety, quality and programme.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Manager within a Tier 1 or Tier 2 main contractor environment.
• Experience managing new-build construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, health & safety and quality management.
• Proven track record of managing subcontractors and site teams.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively under programme and commercial pressures.
• A solid understanding of construction programmes and project delivery.
• Relevant construction qualifications, ideally including SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Manager to join a leading Tier 1 main contractor on a prestigious £10 million new-build school project near Chippenham, Wiltshire.

This is an excellent long-term opportunity for a Site Manager looking to work on a high-profile education project with an established main contractor, with the potential for continued career opportunities following successful delivery of the scheme.

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Site Manager / Construction Manager with a strong background in main contracting and new-build construction. Experience delivering education, commercial, healthcare or other complex building projects would be highly advantageous.

The Role

As Site Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management and delivery of the project, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.

Your responsibilities will include:
