We are recruiting for a Site Manager to join us here at Octavius Infrastructure, to help us deliver highways and roads projects in the North West of England in National highways areas 10 and 13.

We are a leading civil engineering organisation delivering safe, sustainable, and efficient transport solutions across the UK.

Role and Responsibilities

As Site Manager, you will lead and manage site activities on our Highways schemes. You will oversee the construction of road infrastructure and drainage systems, ensuring work is completed safely, profitably, and in line with the programme. You will maintain the highest standards of quality and safety while ensuring the project is delivered on time and within budget.

Collaborations

You will collaborate with a dedicated team of professionals, including the Project Manager and subcontractors, to deliver key projects for our valued clients. Our projects focus on improving road infrastructure and enhancing the travelling experience for local communities.

About You

You will work collaboratively with a dedicated team, including the Project Manager and subcontractors, to deliver key projects that improve road infrastructure and the travelling experience for local communities.

Your Skills and Qualifications

  • Significant experience in highways construction, specifically road building and drainage systems.
  • Strong knowledge of NEC or ICE contract conditions and programme management.
  • SMSTS certification and a valid CSCS card.
  • An industry-recognised qualification (Degree, HND, NVQ) in Civil Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to foster a collaborative work environment.
