Job description

Involve Recruitment are in search of a highly experienced and detail-oriented Site Manager to oversee Quality Assurance (QA), Health & Safety (H&S), snagging, and administrative functions on a prestigious, large-scale industrial project in South Wales. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who has proven expertise in managing large projects, and who excels in ensuring the smooth operation of site procedures and paperwork, as well as maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality control.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage and oversee all site-based Quality Assurance (QA) procedures, ensuring compliance with project specifications, client requirements, and industry standards.
  2. Act as the site's Health and Safety lead, ensuring full compliance with all H&S regulations, performing risk assessments, and implementing proactive safety measures.
  3. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure that works are progressing to the required quality and safety standards, resolving any issues that arise.
  4. Oversee snagging processes, ensuring all defects and issues are promptly identified, logged, and resolved in a timely manner.
  5. Handle all site administration, including daily logs, progress reports, H&S documentation, risk assessments, method statements, and other necessary paperwork.
  6. Collaborate closely with the senior management team and contractors to ensure efficient project delivery and adherence to agreed timelines.
  7. Maintain accurate records of site operations, quality control, safety measures, and progress.
  8. Ensure that all subcontractors and on-site teams adhere to safety and quality procedures, providing support where necessary.
  9. Liaise with stakeholders, clients, and regulatory authorities to ensure smooth communication and compliance with all requirements.

About You:
  1. Proven experience as a Site Manager, specifically managing QA, H&S, snagging, and administrative functions on large-scale industrial, commercial, or infrastructure projects.
  2. A strong record of long-term employment, with no history of job hopping; we are looking for someone who has demonstrated a commitment to their career and developed expertise over time.
  3. Relevant qualifications including SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme), CSCS card, First Aid, and other construction industry certifications.
  4. Extensive experience in quality control, H&S management, and snagging procedures, with a clear understanding of industry regulations and best practices.
  5. Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, contractors, and all stakeholders.
  7. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to proactively address issues as they arise.
  8. Experience with administrative duties, including reporting, document management, and maintaining accurate records.
