Job Opportunity: Freelance Construction Site Manager (Office Fit out) to oversee a high-end restaurant strip-out and fit-out project in Cardiff

Start Date: Monday, 22nd September

Location: Cardiff CF11

Duration: 10 Weeks

Contract: Freelance

Project Overview

• Full strip-out and high-spec fit-out of a office space
• Tight programme with multiple trades and high-end finishes
• Liaison with client, design team, and specialist subcontractors

Key Responsibilities

• Daily site management and coordination of subcontractors
• Ensuring works are completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard
• Health & Safety management (RAMS, inductions, site compliance)
• Quality control and snagging
• Reporting progress to the project manager/client team

Requirements

• Proven experience in managing fit-out projects
• SMSTS
• CSCS
• First Aid certification
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and maintain high standards under pressure
