Job description

We’re working with a leading residential developer delivering a range of high-volume housing schemes across South Wales. Due to continued growth, they’re now looking to appoint experienced Residential Site Managers to oversee developments built using a mix of traditional construction and timber frame methods.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and supportive business with a strong reputation for build quality and internal progression.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day site operations from groundwork through to handover

  • Manage subcontractors, site teams, and trades to ensure programme delivery

  • Ensure all works are carried out in line with H&S, NHBC/Premier standards, and company procedures

  • Monitor build quality, conduct snagging, and liaise with internal departments and clients

  • Drive a positive site culture focused on safety, quality, and collaboration

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager in residential housing (50+ units)

  • Strong knowledge of timber frame and traditional build methods

  • SMSTS, First Aid, and CSCS (Site Manager level) certifications

  • Ability to lead and motivate site teams, manage subcontractors, and meet build programmes

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
