Are you an experienced Site Manager with a knack for meticulous planning and efficient administration? We're looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Site Manager for an upcoming school project. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives on creating robust programmes and ensuring all project documentation is impeccable.

About the Role

As our Site Manager, you'll be instrumental in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the school construction project. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Programme Development: Taking the lead in developing, monitoring, and updating detailed project programmes to ensure timely and efficient delivery. Your passion for planning will be key!

  • Administrative Excellence: Meticulously completing and managing all project-related administrative tasks, including site diaries, risk assessments, method statements, and health and safety documentation.

  • Site Supervision: Overseeing all site activities, ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance.

  • Team Leadership: Managing and motivating the site team, subcontractors, and trades.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Liaising effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.

  • Health & Safety: Upholding and promoting a strong safety culture on site at all times.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a proactive and dedicated Site Manager with:

  • Proven Experience: A strong background as a Site Manager, particularly on school or similar educational building projects.

  • Programming Prowess: Demonstrable experience and a genuine enthusiasm for writing comprehensive project programmes and tracking progress.

  • Administrative Acumen: Exceptional organizational skills and a keen eye for detail when it comes to completing and managing all necessary paperwork and digital records.

  • Valid Certifications:

    • SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)

    • CSCS Card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme)

    • First Aid at Work Certificate

  • Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of construction methodologies, building regulations, and health and safety legislation.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Problem-Solving: A proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues on site.
