About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a programme of planned works within the social housing sector. This is a 6-month fixed term contract with the potential for extension.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Works will include kitchens, bathrooms, windows, roofs, doors, and boilers across occupied and void social housing properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily site activities and ensure compliance with health & safety regulations.

  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and trades on site.

  • Oversee planned works programmes, ensuring projects meet quality and client specifications.

  • Monitor progress against project timelines and budgets.

  • Carry out site inspections and quality checks.

  • Maintain strong communication with residents, clients, and stakeholders.

  • Prepare and manage site documentation, including risk assessments, method statements, and progress reports.

Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Site Manager in the social housing sector.

  • Strong knowledge of planned works programmes (kitchens, bathrooms, windows, roofs, doors, boilers).

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • SMSTS or SSSTS certification (preferred).

  • Full UK driving licence.
