Job summary

Poolhall Recruitment is looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee kitchen and bathroom replacement programmes for social housing projects in Birmingham. You will manage multiple trades, subcontractors and site staff, ensuring safety, quality and on‑time delivery.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will drive performance, maintain strong client relationships and support cost control across high-volume programmes with a proactive leadership approach.

Job title – Site Manager – Social Housing

Location – Birmingham

Salary – Up to £50,000 per annum + package

A well established construction and refurbishment contractor specialising in social housing, kitchen & bathroom replacement programmes, and planned maintenance is looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee multiple projects across Birmingham.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business delivering high volume programmes at scale, with clear progression and strong support from senior leadership.

What you’ll be doing as Site Manager:

Reporting to the Operations Manager/Director, you will take full ownership of day to day site delivery, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to programme. You’ll manage trades, subcontractors and junior site staff while maintaining excellent relationships with clients and residents.

What we’re looking for in a Site Manager:

• Proven experience delivering kitchen & bathroom replacement programmes


• Experience managing high volume programmes


• Organised, proactive and confident communicator


• IT literate and comfortable with digital reporting systems


• Commercially aware with good understanding of project costs


• Ability to manage KPIs and performance targets


• NHF Schedule of Rates / SOR code experience (desirable)


• Strong leadership skills and ability to drive team performance
