Freelance Site Manager - New Build Commercial Project (Timber Frame & RC Works)

Location: Accrington

Duration: 4 Months

Sector: Commercial New Build

Rate: Competitive Day Rate

Start Date: 22nd September

The Project

• A commercial new build development involving:

• Timber frame construction
• Reinforced concrete foundations and pads

This is a fast-paced project requiring a strong leader with a good eye for quality, safety, and programme.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day site management and coordination of trades
• Ensuring health & safety standards are adhered to at all times
• Managing programme timelines and reporting to senior management
• Liaising with the client, consultants, and subcontractors
• Overseeing groundwork and timber frame packages
• Driving a positive, solutions-focused site culture

Requirements

• Proven experience managing commercial new build sites
• Background in both RC groundwork/foundations and timber frame construction
• SMSTS, CSCS (Black card preferred), First Aid
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Able to hit the ground running and manage site independently
