Our client, a school with whom we have a longstanding relationship in the education sector, based in Cheltenham, has an exciting new opportunity for a Site Maintenance Worker to join their team on a temporary basis due to increased workload during the summer holiday.

The successful Site Maintenance Worker should have:

  1. Previous experience in a similar maintenance role (Essential)
  2. An understanding of health and safety guidelines
  3. The ability to work independently on a range of practical tasks
  4. Availability for the entire contract period (July-August)

In this role, the Site Maintenance Worker will be responsible for:

  • Carrying out minor repairs and maintenance tasks across the school (e.g., plumbing, painting, carpentry)
  • Conducting routine inspections of the site and equipment
  • Ensuring health and safety standards are always maintained
  • Monitoring heating, lighting, and other systems to ensure efficient operation

Our client is offering the successful Site Maintenance Worker a pay rate of £12.50 - £13 an hour, dependent on experience level, plus holiday pay.
