JDR - Just Dynamic Recruitment is seeking a Site Maintenance Operative to join a growing property maintenance team in Newport with UK travel. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance across commercial properties to keep sites safe, clean, and fully operational.

The role offers Monday–Friday 40 hours, with a competitive £30,000–£35,000 salary, company vehicle or mileage allowance, 28 days holiday, and on-site parking.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience in a building trade or property maintenance
• NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing and Heating
• CSCS card desirable
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage workload
• Healthy and safety awareness

Site Maintenance Operative

Salary: £30,000–£35,000

Hours: 40 hours per week | Monday to Friday (08:00–16:30)

Location: Newport based but willingness to travel to various locations throughout the UK

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll carry out a wide range of planned and reactive maintenance tasks to keep properties running smoothly and looking their best. Duties will include:

• General building repairs, including roofing and cladding
• Plumbing maintenance and minor installations

• Painting and decorating
• Carpet fitting and repairs
• Paving and external maintenance

What We’re Looking For

• At least 3 years’ experience in a building trade or property maintenance role
• NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing and Heating
• Experience with cladding and roofing (desirable)
• CSCS card (desirable)
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage and prioritise workload
• Comfortable using IT systems to log work and track materials or costs
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures, including risk assessments
• Strong communication skills when working across occupied sites
