Job summary

Perrys Maintenance Operatives play a key role in keeping Perrys dealerships across the North West safe and well maintained. You will use carpentry, electrical, plumbing and decorating skills to perform repairs to a high standard while following Health and Safety policies.

A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are required, with a company van provided for business use. You may travel between sites to support other operatives; hours are flexible within a one-week pattern Monday–Friday,

Qualifications

• Good interpersonal skills and high standard of workmanship.
• Organised, self-motivated with a flexible approach.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Must have a full UK driving licence; company van provided for business use.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs to a high standard across carpentry, electrical, plumbing and decorating as required.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety policies; report information accurately.
• Liaise with specialist subcontractors when needed and travel between dealerships.
• Maintain properties to keep them safe and functional.

Hours of work: We can be flexible with the hours offered. The role offered will be a one-week pattern, working Monday – Fridays 9am to 5.30pm so you can be sure to have quality time to spend with your family and friends.

About the role:

We have an exciting opportunity available for an enthusiastic individual who is ready to take on this exciting role to cover the Perrys dealerships in the North West.

As a Perrys Maintenance Operative, you will understand Health and Safety in the workplace, comply with policies and procedures, carry out repairs to a high standard, record and report information accurately and liaise with specialist subcontractors where needed.

About you:

• You will have good interpersonal skills and have a passion for delivering high quality of workmanship.
• You will have good organisational skills and be self-motivated.
• Have a flexible attitude and a thorough approach to work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• You will have a full UK Driving licence and access to own vehicle. A company van will be provided for business use only.
• You will be expected to have use of your own basic hand and small power tools. Any specific specialist tools will be provided.
• Travel to other dealerships to support and assist with other maintenance operatives across the groupmay be required from time to time and may require overnight stays.
