Job description

The Site Maintenance Officer will be responsible for managing the health and safety at the Chestnut View Care Home, a 60-bedded residential, nursing, and dementia care facility in Haslemere, Surrey. The successful candidate will undertake remedial work, liaise with external contractors, and ensure the overall maintenance and upkeep of the premises.

Main duties of the job

The Site Maintenance Officer will be responsible for the general repair and maintenance of the care home, including carrying out routine checks, identifying and addressing any issues, and coordinating with external contractors for work beyond the scope of their expertise. They will need to have good practical maintenance experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to be flexible in their approach.
