Job summary

Omega Resource Group is seeking a Site Maintenance Electrician for a Stoke-on-Trent site. Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm, with salary of £39,111.36 per year plus overtime.

You will handle first-line maintenance, complete PPM tasks, and ensure all safety and compliance paperwork is current. Role involves reacting to service calls, coordinating with the Helpdesk, and performing fault finding on electrical and mechanical systems.

Qualifications

• Electrical installation/maintenance qualification (NVQ/City & Guilds)
• 18th Edition wiring regs certification
• AM2 or 2391 inspection/testing qualification
• Experience with 3 phase electrics and electrical maintenance

Responsibilities

• Complete Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) within agreed timescales with accurate paperwork
• Respond to service calls from Helpdesk and assess/repair as needed
• Prioritise maintenance to meet timescales and response targets
• Deliver fire alarm system maintenance and emergency lighting tests
• Follow purchase order processes and advise on replacements when needed
• Ensure compliance documentation is up to date at all times
• Notify site management of repair/maintenance issues affecting operations
• Attend training to keep up with technical developments
