Job summary

Omega Resource Group is seeking a Site Maintenance Electrician for a Stoke on Trent site. You will perform PPMs, reactive repairs, and ensure compliance paperwork is up to date while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Work pattern is Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm, with a salary of £39,111.36 per annum plus overtime. You’ll manage electrical and some mechanical tasks and liaise with the site manager to minimise downtime.

Qualifications

NVQ Level 3/City & Guilds 236 Part 1+2 or equivalent in electrical installation/maintenance.
City & Guilds 18th Edition.
AM2 / 2391.
3-phase electrics and its applications.
Experience maintaining and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment.
Adherence to Health and Safety policy.

Responsibilities

Complete the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule within agreed timescales and complete paperwork.
Respond promptly to service calls and assess repair requirements.
Prioritise maintenance to meet timescales and response times.
Deliver reactive and planned fire alarm system maintenance.
Conduct emergency lighting tests and repairs.
Follow purchase order process and report non-repairable faults with recommendations.
Maintain compliance documentation and inform site manager of issues.
Attend training courses and ensure safety and technical standards are kept up to date.
