Site Maintenance Assistant

Location: Ipswich

Salary: £11.44 per hour

Hours: 37.5

Main Purpose

To carry out external and internal maintenance of the building, equipment, and grounds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance duties as required, including basic electrical, painting, plumbing, carpentry, and door repairs.
  • Keep workspaces clean, clear, and unobstructed.
  • Maintain and advise on equipment condition, including cleanliness and faults.
  • Conduct periodic inspections and update the preventative maintenance log.
  • Manage deliveries and dispose of waste safely, adhering to health and safety legislation.
  • Occasionally drive a company vehicle for local journeys.
  • Maintain a safe working environment, ensure confidentiality, and undertake additional reasonable tasks.
