Join Our Team: We are looking for a dedicated Site Loss Prevention Manager to join our dynamic team at our distribution centre. In this critical role, you will be responsible for safeguarding our colleagues, customer assets, and facilities while driving initiatives aimed at minimising loss and enhancing security protocols. About the Role:

  • Leadership in Loss Prevention: Directly manage and promote essential Loss Prevention strategies to ensure the safety of colleagues, the protection of customer assets, and the physical security of the site.
  • Compliance and Standards: Ensure strict adherence to all Security and Loss Prevention Policies, Processes, and Procedures to maintain the highest standards of safety and compliance within the distribution centre.
  • Investigations: Conduct thorough investigations into incidents of theft, fraud, and other security breaches, ensuring all findings are documented and reported appropriately. Develop and implement corrective actions based on investigation outcomes to prevent future occurrences.
  • Security Service Provider: Work closely with our security service provider to support performance through regular collaboration and KPI meetings. Ensure that security services align with our operational needs and expectations, driving improvements in service delivery.
  • Collaboration: Communicate effectively with site operations and our customers to enhance Security and Loss Prevention performance and improve the overall customer experience. Foster strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure a unified approach to Security and Loss Prevention.
  • Incident Management: Coordinate responses to incident reports related to stock anomalies and losses, ensuring thorough investigations and timely resolutions.
  • Risk Mitigation: Gather and analyse security intelligence to implement proactive measures aimed at mitigating stock loss and enhancing overall Security and Loss Prevention.
  • Data Analysis: Utilise data analysis to drive decision-making in Loss Prevention strategies, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Communication and Influence: Effectively communicate Security and Loss Prevention policies and procedures to all levels, fostering a culture of security awareness and compliance throughout the organisation.

Essential:

  • Experience: A proven track record in Loss Prevention within a distribution centre environment, with hands-on experience in conducting investigations from inception to successful conclusion.
  • Data-Driven Approach: Demonstrated experience in data-driven Loss Prevention investigations, utilising analytical skills to identify and address vulnerabilities.
  • Stakeholder Management: Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and engage various teams and departments to achieve Security and Loss Prevention objectives.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional problem-solving skills to identify issues and implement effective solutions quickly.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure thorough investigations and accurate reporting of incidents.
  • Leadership Qualities: Proven leadership qualities to inspire and motivate colleagues towards a culture of security awareness and compliance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Wicklander Zulawski interviewing techniques.
  • Knowledge of TAPA (Transported Asset Protection Association) standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
