Job summary

Fairmead Managed Services LTD is seeking a Logistics Supervisor for a long-term temporary role on a major Bedford project. You will lead the on-site logistics crew, coordinating up to 15 staff including labourers and traffic marshals, ensuring smooth material flow and safety compliance.

Ideal candidates will have proven live-site logistics experience, SSSTS, First Aid and a CSCS card (Green accepted). The role is Bedford-based with 8am–6pm hours and a rate of £22 per hour.

Qualifications

• Proven logistics experience on a live construction site, comfortable running a gang day to day.
• SSSTS certification held and up to date.
• First Aid qualified and able to respond on site.
• CSCS card (Green accepted) held by the supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Running the logistics crew on site — a team of 10 to 15 labourers and traffic marshals.
• Coordinate with the main contractor and suppliers to maintain material flow.
• Ensure on-site safety and compliance for logistics activities.
