Mint Selection are partnered with a leading energy sector organisation to recruit a Site HSE Lead for a major construction project in Dorset. The role focuses on delivering day-to-day health, safety and environmental activities on site, acting as the primary point of contact for contractors on HSE matters, and reporting to the HSEQ Manager – Construction.

Qualifikationen

• Experience delivering site-based HSE support within construction.
• Strong understanding of health, safety and environmental risks on active construction sites.
• Experience coordinating contractor HSE activities and working with site leadership.

Aufgaben

• Lead site HSE initiatives and coordinate contractor HSE activities, setting clear expectations for standards and performance.
• Maintain a visible site presence, engaging with managers, supervisors and workers to recognise good practice and address unsafe behaviours.
• Attend morning job starts, meetings and briefings, and lead stand-downs, hazard identification sessions, risk assessments and incident reviews.
• Coordinate site HSE data, reporting, planning and analysis, producing clear monthly reports on performance and trends.
• Monitor client and contractor safety performance against leading and lagging indicators, identifying gaps and driving improvements.
• Participate in incident investigations, undertake 5-why analysis and support root cause analysis.
