Job summary
Denholm Industrial Services is hiring an HSE Advisor for our Birkenhead site. You will drive health, safety and environmental culture with on-site engagement, inspections and audits, while ensuring compliance with client standards and legislation.
A NEBOSH General Certificate is essential, with experience across construction or industrial services. You will coach workforces, lead investigations, and support risk management and safe systems of work, contributing to continuous safety improvements
Qualifications
- NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety required.
- Experience in construction, engineering, industrial services or project-based environments.
- Strong knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation.
- Experience supporting risk management and safe systems of work.
- Understanding of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Responsibilities
- Regular site engagement, inspections and audits.
- Conduct incident investigations and workforce coaching.
- Identify risks and support safe systems of work across Birkenhead operations.
- Drive continuous improvement in scaffolding and industrial painting safety.
