Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a hands-on Health & Safety Manager to support multiple live civil engineering projects in the Water sector. Based in St Albans, you will travel between sites to lead audits, RAMS reviews and safety briefings, driving continuous improvement and fostering a positive safety culture.

Ideal candidates hold a NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent, have strong knowledge of UK legislation, and proven experience on live construction sites.

Qualifications

• Experience as Health & Safety Manager or Senior Advisor in construction or civil engineering.
• Strong knowledge of UK health & safety legislation and regs.
• Proven track record conducting audits, inspections and investigations.

Responsibilities

• Carry out site visits, inspections and H&S audits across live projects.
• Provide practical H&S advice to project and site teams.
• Review RAMS and Construction Phase Plans and H&S documentation.
• Identify hazards and drive improvements across sites.
• Lead investigations into incidents and support safety briefings.
