Responsibilities
- Act as Company Health and Safety Representative, implementing Health & Safety procedures, Risk Assessments, and policies across the business.
- Conduct accident and incident investigations, ensuring robust investigation techniques are applied, lessons learned are communicated, and corrective actions are completed.
- Deliver in-house training sessions and toolbox talks to keep staff updated on company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Support the Director of Safety & Assurance in monitoring and reviewing policies and procedures to ensure proper implementation and compliance with legislation and best practices.
- Assist contract managers, supervisors, and site managers in managing staff concerning health, safety, and environmental matters.
- Conduct regular site audits of H&S processes and procedures, advising on best practice amendments to the Director of Safety & Assurance.
- Ensure KPIs are maintained in line with company targets and objectives.
