Site Construction Handyman

Location: Thurrock
Contract Duration: 6 months
Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking a reliable and versatile Site Handyman to join our team on a busy construction site. This temporary role involves carrying out a variety of general handyman duties to support the smooth operation of site activities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Performing minor repairs and maintenance tasks as required.
2. Assisting with site set-up and general duties, including basic carpentry, painting, and fixing.
3. Supporting with manual handling tasks, such as moving materials and equipment.
4. Maintaining a clean and organised work environment, ensuring site safety standards are met.
5. Assisting site personnel as needed and responding promptly to requests.

Skills and Experience

1. Previous experience in a handyman or general maintenance role, ideally within a construction environment.
2. Practical skills in minor repairs, basic carpentry, painting, and general site maintenance.
3. Good understanding of health and safety regulations.
4. Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to tasks.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

1. Valid CSCS card.
2. Physically fit and comfortable working in a construction site environment.
3. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
