The role & about the client:

ITS Building People are recruiting on behalf of a reputable residential construction company for an experienced Site Foreman. This company undertakes all aspects of construction, general building, and project management for home renovation projects from full refurbishments and property extensions to bespoke new build homes.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on, proactive Foreman to join a passionate team delivering high-quality residential projects across the region. You ll oversee the day-to-day operations on site, coordinating trades, managing materials, and ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the required standard.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Overseeing all on-site construction activities

• Coordinating subcontractors and direct labour

• Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards

• Managing project schedules and resource allocation

• Maintaining site records and reporting progress to the project manager

• Quality assurance and snagging oversight

• Liaising with clients, suppliers, and external stakeholders

• Problem-solving and decision-making on site

The ideal candidate will have/be:

• Proven experience as a Site Foreman on residential projects

• Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills

• Ability to interpret drawings and manage day-to-day site logistics

• SMSTS or SSSTS (preferred)

• First Aid trained (desirable)

• Full UK driving licence

• A proactive approach with attention to detail and quality
