Site Foreman - Power Plant Project (Friston)

Location: Friston, Suffolk

Role: Site Foreman

Contract: Long-term

About the Role

Our client is looking for a reliable and experienced Site Foreman to join their team on a large-scale power plant project in Friston. This is a long-term contract position and a great opportunity to play a key role in day-to-day site operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site operations and workforce
• Coordinate trades and subcontractors to meet project timelines
• Ensure health & safety compliance at all times
• Conduct site inductions and maintain daily site records
• Be responsible for site opening and locking up procedures
• Liaise with project managers and report on progress
• Monitor quality of works and ensure tasks are completed to spec

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Foreman or similar role
• Strong leadership and organisational skills
• Good knowledge of health & safety on construction sites
• CSCS card required
• SMSTS certification
• Must be reliable and responsible - especially regarding site lock-up duties
