Job description

Site Fitter / Welder

Reporting to the Site Manager and working as part of the site team, you will be responsible for structural and architectural steelwork on-site for balustrade works, among other projects.

Role:

This will be working Monday to Friday, 7-7 days at a site based in Kensington. Digs and food allowance will be provided. Competitive rates of pay dependent on experience.

Duties:

• Work independently or as part of a team to meet project deadlines.
• Collaborate effectively with your mate to complete installations efficiently and to a high standard.
• Install structural and architectural metalwork products on-site according to specifications and safety standards.
• Perform on-site welding and polishing to ensure high-quality finishes.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Maintain a high standard of workmanship and safety.

Requirements:

• Experienced using a variety of hand and power tools.
• CSCS card.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Previous experience in a similar role/environment and used to site practices.
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings.
