Job summary

Lonza, Inc. is seeking a Finance Business Partner at site level to provide insightful financial analysis and recommendations across production and cost areas.

You will support monthly closings, planning and CAPEX investment, while partnering with Supply Chain, HR and Technical Services to drive profitability. The role requires strong Excel modelling, robust forecasting skills and the ability to influence stakeholders across local and global teams.

Responsibilities

• Enabling the Site to reach targets by providing insightful analysis and recommendations in all financials aspects of the plant.
• Support Supply Chain, Technical Services and HR functions.
• Support monthly financial closing, Outlooks and Risks and Opportunities processes.
• Support External Audit.
• Investment Support for various CAPEX projects.
• Lead process and systems improvement projects (SAP enhancements, new processes and tools).
• Collaborate with local and global supply chain groups, corporate accounting and global operations.
• Assist the Finance Head of the Site with ad hoc requests.
• Demonstrate strong financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting processes.
• Show advanced Excel skills and strong financial modelling capability.

What you will do:

• Enabling the Site to reach targets by providing insightful analysis and recommendations in all financials aspects of the plant such as (but not limited to) cost transparency, product profitability, key performance indicators in production, innovation, cost savings
• Support Supply Chain, Technical Services and HR functions
• Support monthly financial closing, Outlooks and Risks and Opportunities processes
• Support External Audit
• Investment Support for various CAPEX projects
• Leading process and systems improvement projects (SAP enhancements, new process and tools introductions etc.) together with local and global supply chain group, corporate accounting and global operations
• Supports the Finance Head of the Site on various ad hoc requests
• Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
• Strong financial analysis and business partnering capabilities.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
