Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is seeking a hands-on Site & Facilities Supervisor for a full-time role in Saffron Walden. You will lead a small maintenance team, plan daily workloads and ensure safe, high‑standard facilities across the site.

The position requires practical experience in facilities maintenance, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work rota weekends. A proactive approach and attention to health and safety are essential to maintain site infrastructure and services.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities maintenance and site upkeep.
• Ability to lead a small team and allocate tasks.
• Strong problem-solving and prioritisation skills.
• Good understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
• Ability to balance planned maintenance with reactive tasks.
• Comfortable working weekends on rota.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate a small team of maintenance staff.
• Plan daily tasks, organise workloads and ensure completion.
• Manage ongoing maintenance, repairs and site projects.
• Oversee building, utilities, drainage and grounds maintenance.
• Coordinate labour, materials and resources for projects.
• Provide hands-on maintenance support when needed.
• Respond to unexpected maintenance issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures.
• Identify opportunities to improve site standards.
• Collaborate with management to support daily operations.
