Job summary

Manor Church of England Academy requires an experienced Site and Facilities Manager to oversee daily operations, safety, and maintenance of buildings and grounds. You will lead the cleaning, caretaking and grounds teams, manage contractors, and ensure compliance with health and safety policies.

You will act as a key holder and respond to emergencies while supporting the school leadership team and ensuring facilities are well maintained year-round.

Job description

This permanent post runs the site at Manor Church of England Academy, reporting to the Support Services Manager. The work is the day-to-day upkeep of buildings and grounds so they stay safe, secure, clean and well maintained, leading the cleaning, caretaking and grounds teams and managing contractors and repairs. The role covers alternating weekly shift patterns with a shared Saturday rota, and the postholder acts as a key holder and attends emergency call-outs. Visa sponsorship is not available and the start date is to be confirmed.
