Job summary

IWFM is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee the day-to-day facilities operation of a large industrial and office facility in Cumbernauld. The role focuses on building operations, contractor performance, compliance and maintenance while staying closely involved with the engineering function.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC or Building Services Engineering, plus experience in managing contractors and ensuring health and safety

Qualifications

• Requires strong technical background in Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC or Building Services Engineering.
• Experience managing contractors and service providers.
• Understanding of compliance and health & safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for facilities management of the site.
• Oversee day-to-day operations, maintenance and compliance activities.
• Manage contractor performance, service delivery and safety procedures.
• Monitor budgets and maintain maintenance records and asset registers.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and external providers to drive improvements.

Education

Degree or equivalent qualification

IWFM/BIFM qualification

IOSH/NEBOSH certification
