Location: HMP Wormwood Scrubs, Du Cane Road, W12 0AE
Salary: £57,790.45
Contract: Full-time/Permanent

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Site Manager to join our team at HMP Wormwood Scrubs, a Category B & Adult/Male prison.

HMP Wormwood Scrubs operates like a self-contained city, requiring hundreds of staff to keep it functioning. As part of the Facilities Maintenance Team, your role is crucial in ensuring smooth and safe operations, impacting prisoners, staff, visitors, and the wider community.

Team and Environment

You will work alongside experienced colleagues including Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, Cleaners, and Administrators, all committed to making a positive difference.

Candidate Profile
  • Experience in facilities management
  • Experience managing budgets and staff
  • Desirable: Experience in a prison or military environment
  • Recognised apprenticeship in a facilities/building services trade or two years of relevant experience
  • IOSH qualification (desirable)
  • Good health & safety knowledge
  • Strong organizational, time management, and people skills
