Major Recruitment is seeking a Facilities Manager for a site-based role in Knaresborough. The temp assignment runs for three months, with a Mon-Fri 8am-4pm schedule, and a pay rate of 24.62 GBP per hour, start ASAP.

The role involves hands-on facilities, maintenance coordination, and contractor liaison to maintain high site standards. You will support operations and maintenance teams, manage CMMS records, and ensure safety and environmental compliance across the site while prioritising daily

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities or building services management.
• Experience coordinating maintenance and contractors.
• Understanding health and safety legislation and environmental compliance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CMMS or asset systems.
• Strong organisation and record-keeping.

Responsabilités

• Oversee day-to-day facilities operations across the site.
• Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance and keep CMMS up to date.
• Manage service contracts including cleaning, pest control, waste, PPE.
• Oversee site assets and access controls, radios, gas monitors, RPE, lockers.
• Coordinate statutory inspections and compliance activities (Legionella, surface water sampling, weather station inspections and site meter monitoring).
• Deliver small improvement projects outside Maintenance scope.
• Promote housekeeping and support HSEQ compliance.
