This is a rare opportunity to work for a rapidly expanding business in a newly created role as a Site Engineering Manager. This position would be well suited to a multiskilled engineering leader who has experience of managing small teams, engineering budgets, capex projects, continuous improvement and PPM scheduling. This is a great opportunity to join a growing business in an industry which will provide excellent long term stability and growth.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Accountable for all activities within the engineering function.
- Maximise and constantly improve equipment performance.
- Ensure that the engineering planning process is managed robustly, ensuring high levels of compliance.
- Contribute to identification and delivery of improvement projects.
- Manage engineering budget and look for opportunities to create value.
- Manage inventory levels through engineering team.
- Develop and execute plan to protect site from equipment obsolescence.
- Manage site capital programme.

Requirements:
- Electrical and/or mechanical qualifications / time served apprenticeship
- Experience of operating in a medium/large automated manufacturing operation with relevant safety systems, quality standards, housekeeping standards etc.
- Experience of leading a team
- Experience of leading and delivering change (desirable)
- Experience of budget control
- Experience of managing capital programme (desirable)
- Experience of computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS) and stock control systems.
