Job Opportunity: Site Engineering Manager

Scantec FMCG recruitment is partnering with a large multi-national FMCG Manufacturer to assist in their search for a Site Engineering Manager at their site in South Lanarkshire.

Role Overview:

The Site Engineering Manager will lead the engineering department to deliver departmental and site strategies. A key focus will be maximizing OEE through effective leadership of the engineering shift teams. The role requires someone who enjoys leading, managing, and developing team members, and who can confidently present to and influence senior stakeholders as the most senior engineering position on site.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Deliver the engineering strategy on site, focusing on improving OEE.
2. Build a talent pipeline and manage spare parts and finances robustly.
3. Lead by example to promote behavioural standards aligned with the company’s values and culture.
4. Coach employees in implementing the Company’s Operational Excellence programme.
5. Utilize best practices from within and outside the business to drive continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Experienced engineering leader with a background in manufacturing.
• Ideally educated to Degree or HND level in engineering or a related discipline.
• Practical experience with automation and/or mechatronics in a manufacturing environment.
