Site Engineer - Setting out Engineer - Outside IR35 - Site Engineer Civils -
We have a need for a freelance site engineer (without kit) on the A249 Grovehurst scheme.

Site Engineer / Setting out Engineer role details of the job are below:

to upgrade the Grovehurst junction on the A249. Works comprise earthworks, various road make-ups including the use of CBGM, installation of new services, drainage, kerbs and tarmac surfacing.

Experience required will be in highways setting out and surveys with robotic total station, locating existing services, working around live services, completing QA check sheets and diary, working with subcontractors.

Setting out using total stations, and to be able to undertake traditional setting out
Read and review construction drawings
Undertake basic take-offs
Raising technical queries with designers and other members of the client team
Ensure all work complies with quality, safety and environmental policies and the requirements of the company procedures

What we are looking for:-

Minimum 5 years experience delivering complex projects

Relevant CSCS
Computer competence
Civil Engineering related qualification
Successful experience as a site engineer
