Job summary

Tilbury Douglas in Birmingham is seeking a technically capable Site Engineer to join our Project Delivery Team, taking responsibility for day-to-day engineering and control of an allocated area. You will ensure construction activities are delivered safely, accurately and in line with drawings, specifications, programme and QA records.

You will work with project managers, designers and suppliers to resolve technical challenges, support right-first-time delivery and maintain robust on-site

Qualifications

• Must have practical setting out and dimensional control experience.
• Experience interpreting construction drawings, specs and schedules.
• CSCS card and relevant technical qualification are required.

Responsibilities

• Undertake and check setting out, dimensional control and surveying activities.
• Review drawings, specifications and design information; raise technical queries and provide calculations.
• Implement project quality requirements and inspections; maintain records.
• Promote health, safety and environmental performance; support risk assessments and permits.
• Coordinate with project team and supply chain to monitor progress and maintain diaries.
