AS OCU continues on a journey of substantial growth, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Site Engineer to join us based in Slough.

The Site Engineer will play a crucial role in the product development lifecycle, from concept design to production. This role requires strong technical skills, creative problem-solving abilities, and a passion for innovation. The Site Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and develop products that meet customer requirements and exceed industry standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with product managers, stakeholders, and customers to understand project requirements, goals, and constraints.
  • Generate innovative design concepts and solutions addressing user needs, technical specifications, and market trends.
  • Create sketches, renderings, and 3D models to visualize and communicate design concepts effectively.
  • Conduct engineering analysis and simulation studies to evaluate performance, reliability, and manufacturability of design concepts.
  • Use CAD software and simulation tools to optimize designs for strength, weight, cost, and other key factors.
  • Iterate on designs based on analysis results and stakeholder feedback to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance.
