Job Opportunity: Temporary Site Engineer – Norwich (McDonald’s New Build Project)

We are currently looking for an experienced Site Engineer to join our team on a new McDonald’s build in Norwich. This is a temporary position with approximately 9 weeks of work, with the potential for extension depending on performance and future workload.

Project Type: New build commercial unit with civil engineering elements
Location: Norwich
Duration: Approx. 9 weeks (with potential for extension)
Start Date: ASAP
Rate: Competitive day rate (based on experience and equipment provision)

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting out for groundworks, drainage, foundations, and structural elements

• Coordinating with site management, subcontractors, and the design team

• Maintaining accurate records and QA documentation

• Ensuring works are delivered in line with project specifications and programme

• Supporting site safety, quality, and compliance

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Engineer on civil engineering or commercial new build projects

• Proficient in use of surveying equipment and setting out techniques

• Ideally able to provide own equipment (not essential, but preferred and will be reflected in rate)

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• Relevant qualifications in civil engineering or construction

• CSCS card required
