Site Engineer – Night Shift

I am looking for an experienced Site Engineer (for Night Shift) from a Highways background to work with a Tier 1 Contractor in delivering a major highways infrastructure project in Leeds.

THE ROLE:

1. Setting out and checking works during night operations (including roadworks, drainage, ducting, and temporary traffic management)
2. Ensuring works are delivered to spec, safely and efficiently
3. Coordinating with subcontractors, supervisors, and the day team to ensure smooth handovers
4. Maintaining accurate QA/QC records and reporting progress
5. Acting as the technical point of contact for the night shift team

THE CANDIDATE:

1. Strong site engineering experience, ideally on highways or civils night work
2. Confident with GPS, robotic total station, and AutoCAD
3. CSCS card required; SSSTS/SMSTS & First Aid at Work a plus
4. Able to work independently and take ownership of night-time operations
5. Flexible, proactive and a great communicator
